Pricing / The five layers

The five layers

Prices are calculated in this fixed order. Each step compounds on the result of the previous step.

STEP 1Default rate
The base price you set on each rental type. This is your starting point — what the rental costs before any rules or discounts apply.
$8/hr
STEP 2Calendar rules
Time-based adjustments from your club calendar. Markups for peak hours, discounts for slow periods. The result is the Effective Base Price — what a walk-in with no membership would pay.
$8 + 65% = $13.20/hr
STEP 3Bulk / duration discount
Rewards for longer stays. A member booking 8 hours pays less per hour than someone booking 2. Configurable thresholds and percentages.
$13.20 − 30% = $9.24/hr
STEP 4Tier membership discount
Discount based on the member's membership tier. Gold members get a different rate than Default. Configured per tier in your membership settings.
$9.24 − 15% = $7.85/hr
STEP 5Member-specific adjustment
Manual override for individual members. Rare — used for special arrangements, loyalty rewards, or one-off situations. Manager-set.
No adjustment
The compounding math works in your favor. If you have a 65% peak markup, a 30% bulk discount, and a 15% tier discount, the final price is $7.85/hr — not $8 minus all three percentages off the base. Margins are protected structurally.
